OEBC introduced its OSCE in the Spring of 2017. The statistics shown below are for exam components attempted since then. The OEBC cycle is the same as the school year, with both components being offered in the Fall and Spring.

Students in their final year of a Doctorate of Optometry (OD) program accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education can choose to attempt one or both components at either the Fall or Spring administration, as illustrated in the Eligibility Table.

Please note that in 2021, OEBC changed its policy to permit final-year students the ability to attempt the OSCE.
