Key Dates & Deadlines
This page contains all dates and deadlines for the Spring and Fall exam administrations.
OEBC will use its best efforts to ensure that its examinations are administered at the scheduled time and location and that exam results are issued by the estimated reporting date*. OEBC reserves the right to change administration dates and location and results reporting date and is not responsible for any cancellation or interruption of an examination or results reporting due to circumstances beyond its control.
Reminder: Candidates must submit applications by the deadlines noted. However, if a candidate fails to register for the administration on or before the deadline date, they may request an extended registration for a fee.
Extended deadlines:
- OSCE: 5 days after registration closes
- Written: 10 days after registration closes
Note: An eligibility request must be submitted for each exam by the eligibility request deadline.
*Approximately eight weeks after an exam administration, individual exam results will be available to each candidate on the OEBC candidate portal. We work to provide the results as soon as possible.

July 2, 2024, 12 noon ET – Registration Opens
July 30, 2024, 12 noon ET – Registration Closes
August 13, 2024, 12 noon ET – Exam Cancellation Deadline

October 6, 2024 – OSCE – Hamilton
November 7, 2024 – Written Exam – Via Remote Proctoring

Rescores & Appeals:
Deadline to request rescore of the written exam – 15 days following issuance of results
Deadline to request rescore of the OSCE exam – 15 days following issuance of results
Rescore results will be issued in 30 days of the deadline dates noted above
If you chose to appeal the OSCE exam results after completing an OSCE rescore which resulted in a no change status. The deadline date to request an appeal is:

Appeal deadline for exam results – 25 days following issuance of results, (12pm noon ET)
**Appealing on the grounds of COVID-19 and wearing a mask during the administration will not be accepted as a base for an appeal.**
*Regarding Results and Appeal deadline dates: OEBC will publish the actual results reporting date and appeal deadline on the website on the day that exam results are issued.
